Massimiliano Tarantino

After graduating in Law, he went on to be a professional journalist with a career in communications spanning twenty years. He has written for the daily newspapers of L'Espresso publishing group, has penned radio scripts for Italian broadcaster, RAI, and set-up the press office for the Trieste Contemporanea Committee. From 2002 to 2006 he served as spokesman for Salvatore Settis and was Head of Communications at the Scuola Normale di Pisa. From 2006 he was in charge of Communications for Telecom Progetto Italia and then at Telecom Italia until 2013. He has taught journalism and communications at the Universities of Udine, Pisa, Parma, and Cattolica in Milan. He currently holds the position of Director of Corporate Communications and Institutional Relations for the Feltrinelli Group and is Secretary General of Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli. He is an Executive Director of Laboratorio Expo, an Expo Milano 2015 project that brings together some of the most respected opinions in the scientific community.
