"The best and most exciting day of these six months at Expo Milano 2015 I spent with my parents when they came up from Naples to visit me. Despite the rain, the concert by Elisa was scheduled for that evening. I took them to see the Tree of Life show. I was so happy to share with them the place where, for six months I’ve spent most of my days. Everything here has so many memories attached, even the food: the best thing I've eaten were the skewers in the Argentina pavilion that I tried for the first time with my boyfriend and then later with my friends. Here at Expo Milano 2015 I manage the Facebook page. It was quite a responsibility. Needless to say I had never managed a page that had nearly two million likes. Once I finish here I’ll go back to study, but with the knowledge that I may have found what I want to do with my life. I’ve made many new friends during this time, I just hope to see these friendships grow outside of here”.

This time Cirque, next stop… #expopeople

"We couldn’t wait to see the Cirque du Soleil. We came to Expo Milano 2015 especially to witness these amazing artists. We had heard about them on TV and then our friends strongly recommended that we should come. Next time we’ll visit with the entire family and also stop off to see the pavilions!"

"I left my beloved Milan behind five years ago for the hills of Piedmont. When my church group told me it was coming here, to Expo Milano 2015, I could hardly believe it. I’ve missed my city and so I jumped at the chance. Going from a bustling city to the countryside is difficult, but in life you always have to be able to reinvent yourself". "The typical dish of the Piedmont countryside is agnolotti pasta, but I prefer the ones that come from Abruzzo, which are made with ricotta and are sweeter. Despite this, you can’t beat Piedmont cooking. In the Langhe Hills there are the best wines and meats in the world! I, in theory, know how to cook, but being just by myself I prefer to go to the deli. Cooking is about love and if you can’t share it with someone ... there’s little left. Today I had a pizza at the Coop and two ice creams, I know I’ll stay on this bench for a while! Coming here the urge to travel and talk to people has been reignited. Everyone leaves you with something, something you can remember, or not, with pleasure... and old age must not be used as an excuse".
