Another thrilling week for The Cooking Show
guests, the TV program where Italian and International chefs meeting to exchange dishes, recipes, culture and cooking anecdotes, while also reflecting on the theme of Expo Milano 2015 “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”
. The show is shot every day in the RAI studios
inside the Expo Center
, and features a challenge between two chefs and the host Lisa Casali
, an expert on sustainable cookery, who creates a new dish using the ingredients left over after the making of the chef’s dishes to prove that attention to the Planet and sustainability can become concrete concepts applied to everyday life.
On August 3, the protagonists of the show are Renato Morisco, from Bari, chef and expert of a healthy and correct diet and the musician Saturnino, considered by the most accredited critics as one of the best bass players on an international level. On August 4, it will be the turn of Marco Stabile, chef and president of the Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe, who will be cooking with the comedian Diego Parassole. A mix between sport and culture for the show aired on August 5, with the young chef Massimiliano Musso and the Italian Olympic fencing champion, Elisa Di Francisca. On August 6, it will be the turn of Paolo Griffa, a young pastry chef who represented Italy at the world’s final of the talent show S.Pellegrino Young Chef.
The journey in the discovery of Italian high cuisine continues with the chef Matteo Vigotti and the producers that have made Italy known worldwide with their specialties, like Marco Lorini, a snail breeder who produces pates, sauces and snails for gastronomy.
How to participate in The Cooking Show
If you would like to take part in The Cooking Show as a member of its studio audience, register at the Infopoint in front of the Expo Center, from Monday to Saturday up until 14:30, and on Sunday up until 11:00. The live show takes place every day inside the RAI studio in the Expo Center, close to Pavilion Zero, on Monday to Saturday from 15:30 to 16:30 and from 12 noon to 13:00 on Sundays.
