A project organized by Fondazione Cinema per Roma and Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, the Short Food Movie - Feed your Mind, Film your Planet initiative invites people from all over the world to interpret the Expo themes of nutrition and sustainability by creating a short video, of between 30 seconds and one minute in length.
The videos may be produced with professional or non-professional equipment, and are to be uploaded onto a specially-designed online platform. During the Expo, a selection of the videos submitted will be projected onto the video wall within Pavilion Zero, a project curated by Davide Rampello.
From THE WEB to THE WALL
Short Food Movie can be considered a real-life, democratic permanent platform, a viral and global work of art, created from hundreds of thousands of images, and many languages, and cultures. Videos can be opened in any order, allowing viewers to develop their own narrative. In a word, Short Food Movie is an artistic installation that brings Expo Milano 2015’s themes to life by the agency of people telling their own stories.
