Accenture is working alongside Expo Milano 2015 to offer every visitor a totally  integrated digital experience able to anticipate the future.

Accenture is Global Systems Integration Partner for Expo Milano 2015.

Our role is to design and implement the complex IT architecture used to manage the event and enable innovative digital services that provide visitors with a totally integrated experience, giving them a glimpse of the city of the future.
We're working alongside Expo Milano 2015 as Official Global Partner for the first of these events to be held in the digital era - truly one of a kind.

The role of Accenture at Expo Milano 2015
Accenture brings to Expo Milano 2015 its unique digital capabilities and its ability to integrate both public and private players in complex ecosystems.
As Official Global Systems Integration Partner of Expo Milano 2015, Accenture is designing and developing the event management IT architecture, while providing  innovative digital services for a fully connected visitors’ experience of Expo Milano 2015 as the city of the future.
To do so, the company will leverage its wide-ranging capabilities and experience across mobility, applications development, digital/web design and strategy.

In details, Accenture will:
  • build and manage the SDP-Service Delivery Platform, the backbone of Expo Milano 2015 event management IT architecture, and will integrate and orchestrate a composite set of the Partners’ applications to offer a seamless visitors’ experience; 
  • design and develop a real-time analytics platform to enable  customer profiling  and notification system  for  anytime and anywhere information delivery to connected visitors;
  • design, develop and manage  two value added digital services on Expo Milano 2015 site:

    - the Presence Location Management system,  an innovative value-add service that will enable digital services to provide  real-time information to connected visitors based on their locations,  preferences  or points of interests, proximity to entertainment or special events.     

    - the e-couponing, a digital  value add service that will enable Expo Milano 2015 partners, exhibitors and country pavilions to deliver promotional offers and special invitations to connected visitors based on their preferences as  well as their proximity to specific  locations.
  • support Expo Milano 2015 Governance, Release and Test Management for Event Management support applications to ensure a seamless integration of all the partners’ applications, ie. e-payment services, e-ticketing, etc.
  • manage, maintain and operate the deployed applications ensuring reliable and flexible service to efficiently manage alerts from Expo Milano 2015 contact center, park operation, expositors and site visitors.
