Benedetto and Francesco. Life and work for the future

Expo e territori scheda Umbria

The project aims to identify Umbria, the green heart of Italy, as a place for living and working; a place where – in accordance with the teachings of St. Francis and St. Benedict, the true patrons and cornerstones of Italian cultural history – innovation and industriousness come together in sacred respect for nature, and where agriculture and processing methods combine culture, reflection on ancient traditions and cutting-edge innovative technologies. In addition, the distinctive features of Umbria allow the strong positioning of regional food and wine and food produce in a unique overall environmental and cultural context.
