The World Food Research and Innovation Forum is a strategic initiative of the Emilia Romagna region for Expo Milano 2015. It aims to create a platform to attract global players and expertise on food safety and research for Italy and the European Union. The Forum will be held in Parma, Emilia Romagna, also home to the European Food Safety Authority.
The international biennial event, which will be held for the first time on 22-23 September, during Emilia Romagna week at Expo Milano 2015, is designed to capture the legacy of Expo, providing a strategic asset for Italy, the EU and the world in the medium term.
