Here is some practical information to help you move round the Expo Milano 2015 site. Where are the Service areas? Would you like to dedicate some time to working-out, and helping countries suffering from nutrition while you do so? Would you like to buy a branded Expo product? Turnstiles close at 21:00.
* 9:00 opening at the Merlata and Roserio Entrances. 10:00 opening at the Triulza and Fiorenza entrances.

Information and orientation
 
Visitors have at their disposal the following:
 
 
    • Maps are available at the entrances to the Expo site. As well as showing the location of the pavilions, these indicate the location of all major services, including those for people with disabilities and special needs.
    • Large-scale maps are available for consultation at various locations throughout the exhibition site.
    Banners indicating the location of pavilions, as well as services will be posted at strategic locations on the Expo site.
    • Electronic information panels (totems), positioned in a number of key locations are available for consultation, and are accessible to people with limited-mobility, as well as the hearing- and vision-impaired.
 
In the event of an emergency, announcements will be made over the public-address system. Emergency messages will also be flashed to the electronic information points (totems), so they are accessible to people who are visually- and/or hearing-impaired
 
    • The Expo Milano 2015 Official App includes information on the location of the pavilions, as well as where visitor services are situated.
   
Uniformed volunteers as well as service staff (look for the Milano Expo 2015 and ‘Field Operator’ logos) are available to help throughout the site.
 
   • The Expo InfoPoints can provide information to all, and are accessible to people with disabilities.
   
• Located in the Cascina Triulza is the Expofacile Info Point, the Lombardy Regional Council’s dedicated service for people with disabilities.

RESTROOMS & NURSERY

Restrooms, all of them accessible to people with disabilities can be found at each of the Service Areas (shown in yellow on the Visitor’s Map) along the Decumano.
 
Sponsored by Chicco, the Nursery areas include all facilities for breast-feeding and diaper-changing. These can be found in all the Service Areas, and in the restrooms of the Eataly and CIR Food eateries.
 
 
 

SHOPPING & OFFICIAL PRODUCTS

Along Strada 3 Nord (Street 3 North), visitors can choose from a selection of premium gift articles branded Excelsior, as well as apparel and accessories from the well-known Italian OVS clothing chain.
 
Cruciani bags and accessories can be found at 30 Nord (Street 30 North), while Strada 6 Sud (Street 6 South) is the place to go for Technogym apparel, accessories and fitness equipment.
 
Looking for a watch for yourself or as a gift? Look no further than Strada 6 Sud (Street 6 South), where Swatch is located.
 
Newspapers, magazines, books, and other such products are to be found at the Expobookstore on Strada 27 Nord (Street 27 North), while Italy’s leading national daily, Corriere della Sera, can be bought from its own-name store on Strada 14 Nord (Street 14 North).
 
For groceries, Strada 18/19 Sud (Street 18/19 South) is the Future Food Street, which includes a COOP store.
 

DRUGSTORE

An innovative take on the classic drugstore is being showcased by +Medical Parafarmacia, at Strada 24 Nord (Street 24 North). Check out the wide array of products, ranging from skin-care, through dietary supplements, and OTC drugs, and consult with the team of qualified pharmacists.
 
 

TRAVEL TICKETS

Train tickets may be purchased from the Trenitalia, Italy State Railways booth in Expo Partners Pavilion 1, while flight reservations can be made and package holidays purchased at the Alitalia/Etihad Pavilion. Both Pavilions are on Strada 22 Nord (Street 22 North).
 

SMOKING AREAS & TOBACCONIST

A number of designated smoking areas have been set aside on the Expo grounds. Three tobacconist’s stores are available and are located in the Chicco Tosto and Let’sToast eateries.
 

LOST PROPERTY

In partnership with the City of Milan "Lost Property" service, Expo offers a "Lost & Found" service on the Expo Site, located on the first floor of the B2 service area, (on the Decumano, Triulza entrance). Each evening any lost items found on the Exhibition Site are collected and deposited in the office at the West exit of the site.
Visitors who need to recover lost personal items can go directly to the "Lost & Found" office located the mezzanine level of the subway/metro station. To collect your personal items you should visit these offices taking with you some form of identification if you are the owner or written delegation on plain paper.

BANKS & ATMs (AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINES)

Some 22 latest-generation ATMs are located at strategic points throughout the exhibition site, including the ticket offices. These accept cards issued by the leading international circuits, including Visa, Mastercard, Diners, Discover, China Union Pay, and Bancomat. There are also two fully functioning bank branches, whose services include fulfilling international transactions, either at the counter, or via a specially-equipped ATM.
 

TAKING A WELLNESS BREAK

Work-out at the Wellness Club, using equipment from Expo partner, Technogym. Located at the main entrance of the Expo site, the Technogym area is showcasing the gym of the future, which will be a life-style hub connecting the places where people go about their daily business. Nine of these sample places, Technogym Points, are set out along the Expo’s main east-west artery, the Decumano, in the form of interactive “islands”. In these, and in the main gym, visitors can do a work-out, contributing, as they do so, to the “Let’s move for a better world” initiative, which is organized in association with the World Food Programme. As you exercise, your movements are converted into meals for countries suffering from malnutrition.
